Topaz occurs in many colours naturally. and among them thoose called "Imperial" are considered the most valuable. Normaly Topaz is treated to have stronger colours and that is often the case with "Imperial" Topaz also. Topaz is a very good and popular gemstone for jewelry, its hard and appear in many colors.
Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil whom according to some dealers in gemstone business are the only nowdays who have "genuine Imperial Topaz". We in Riddgem dont take part in that discussion. But can see that a wide range of colours between Brown to Orange/Pink often have the name "Imperial" added to its colour like Imperial Brown and so on.
