Comment: Very rare nice emerald crystal.Comes from a new uneploited deposit in Somaliland (the self-governing part of the otherwise ragaged country Somalia).. Rare amount of such material comes randomly out from there. Similar to material of this kind coming from the new findings in Ethiopia (2016). Maybe is this mainly a collectors specimen but the stone is shifting from transparent to opaque and can possible generate both facet and cabochon if cutting.

The green color comes from small elements of Crome, vanadium and Iron. Emerald usually have pretty much inclusions wich is part of the stones caracteristics and are called Jardins (means garden).
