Fossile Ammonites, different spieces in various sizes. Our samples comes mostly from Morocko.  Ammonites are an extinct subclass of cephalopods. They lived from about 400 to 65 million years ago. They lived in shallow seas and many were good swimmers. About 5,000 species are known, ranging in size from one centimeter to 2.5 meters in diameter.
